“Understanding SCIENCE” - Summer Camp For High School Students
Science has become an important and permanent part of our daily lives. We can not think of a single aspect of daily living that Science has not made easier, faster and safer. Science gives us the platform to ask “what, how and why” of nature and is the reason for the ever increasing understanding that people have about the world around them. It is therefore important to educate people about recent developments in science and technology. IISER Bhopal, a premier educational Institute in the country, actively engaged in quality research and teaching believes in creating such awareness.
IISER Bhopal invites applications from students interested in attending a short summer camp from May 07 - 12, 2018 in Bhauri, Bhopal. Students who would be studying in classes X, XI, XII as on May 2018 can apply.
The summer camp will consist of interactive lectures, along with an exposure to laboratory work guided by IISER faculty members. Our efforts are to make science interesting, exciting and intriguing for the participants and to contribute to overall understanding of how and why things work like they do. The objective of this program is to inculcate in students an aptitude to appreciate the role and contribution of science in the betterment of mankind. The program has been designed to create harmony between learning and applying scientific knowledge towards the development of the society with a mission to foster a new generation of scientists who are inspired to improve the world with Science.
To facilitate homogeneous interaction between the students and faculty members, the seats are limited.
